Job Description

We are seeking a person, who is actively pro-life and has a desire to help women in unexpected pregnancies. The position is for 25 hours per week, from 9:30 am-2:30 pm with a 2 hour on call shift one Saturday per month. Qualifications include being Pro-Life with English and Spanish fluency. A Medical or Counseling background is very helpful. A Woman's Choice provides pregnant women seeking abortion the care and support they require to choose life. You will be performing hospital grade pregnancy tests, and counseling women so that they are not afraid to continue their pregnancies. You will be following up with the women on a monthly basis to ensure they are receiving prenatal care. We provide educational videos, accompany them to the Obgyn, teach a Baby Care class and be their support person at delivery when needed. You will be co-running the office, seeing women/mothers on a daily basis and performing administrative tasks as requested by the Executive Director. We are looking for someone with a heart full of compassion who can maintain their calm with women under stress allowing the Holy Spirit to work through them.

About the Employer

We are a non-profit Life Affirming Pregnancy Center, founded in 1985 by six parishioners of Saint Catherine of Siena parish in Great Falls, and have two locations in Northern Virginia. We are seeking a part time person for the Herndon office. Qualifications include being Pro-Life, with a Counseling or Medical background, and bilingual (Spanish-English) to run pregnancy tests, do counseling, and perform administrative tasks.
