Job Description

Chesterton Academy of Buffalo is looking for a full time teacher who can assist in some combination of math, science, philosophy, latin and theology (9th-12th grade) and to be one of our four House advisors.

The house system consists of students within each of the four grades working together to plan community events for the school, grow in friendship and virtue with one another, and compete against the other houses for house points and other benefits.

- Chesterton Academy of Buffalo teachers will be responsible for the careful instruction of their subject(s), supervision of their students' learning including academic, character, faith development and safety.

- Our teachers are to create informative and engaging lesson plans for their subjects within our Christ - Centered, Classical Education format and implement these plans using a Socratic approach to their instruction.

Desired Skills

- The candidate must be a practicing Catholic and willing to take the Oath of Fidelity to the Magisterium. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and possess a track record of contributing to the vision and mission of an apostolic and educational enterprise.
