Job Description
Trinity House Community is seeking a full-time Director of Operations who will report to the Executive Directors and work in collaboration with other staff. This position is responsible for:• providing administrative and human resources support;
• assisting with some communications and marketing;
• planning and executing events;
• overseeing Trinity House Cafe + Market manager, hiring, compliance, and finances.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Administration:
• maintain lists, databases, Google Suite, emails, Amazon Seller, and other administration and software accounts
• scheduling, correspondence, mailings, filing forms, general research
• assist with non-profit accounts payable, communicating with accountant
• assist with year-end appeal, mid-year appeal, year-round development efforts, foundation grants and donor meetings
• maintain development database and oversee thank you notes and tax receipts
• maintain supplies, equipment, and facility systems
• other duties as assigned
Marketing:
• oversee the publication of the weekly e-letter for the Cafe + Market
• photography, social media, and local marketing for the Cafe + Market
• assist with management and development of websites, social media, videos, translations, etc.
• draft, format, edit, update, and disseminate documents, marketing pieces, graphics, videos, campaigns, etc.
• assist with coordination of photography and video shoots
Events:
• plan and execute all aspects of occasional ministry events like donor dinners, anniversary events, etc.
• plan and execute occasional Cafe + Market events like book signings and live music events
Cafe:
• set a servant-leadership and missional tone for staff
• cafe hiring, onboarding, and certifications
• oversee cafe manager, especially for ABC and Health Dept. compliance and facility and equipment maintenance
• budgeting, cost control, payroll, accounts payable, cash maintenance and deposits, tip records
• organize cafe processes into franchising guidebook
• shift and troubleshooting help as needed
DETAILS: The ideal candidate has a degree and experience in related fields, strong communication and people skills, is highly organized and detail-oriented, and is faithful to the teaching of the Catholic Church.
