Operations Manager

Job Description
The Operations Manager at Pro-Life Wisconsin (PLW) performs all the tasks necessary to provide for the effective and efficient operation of the PLW office while assisting in the execution of PLW's plans and activities.

Requirements
Beyond being 100% pro-life, Christian, and a good team player, the individual is expected to be self-motivated with the ability to identify a task's requirements and accomplish it within the time frame expected. The individual must possess the following:

• Thorough understanding and shared belief in Pro-Life Wisconsin's 100% pro-life position.
• Ability to communicate Pro-Life Wisconsin's 100% pro-life position.
• Experience with office operations and procedures.
• Strong team player that works well with others.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent MS Office, Excel, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) & QuickBooks skills.

Responsibilities
The Operations Manager is responsible for executing the following tasks in an accurate and efficient manner:

• Oversees all the activities relating to office operations.
• Manages all donations in the CRM and the acknowledgement process.
• Processes incoming/outgoing daily mail and emails, as well as requests for items and literature.
• Assists in our bulk mailings and The Banner (quarterly magazine) preparation.
• Oversees the office equipment and supplies to ensure they are maintained including staff laptops, and software.
• Handles bookkeeping functions to accurately record all transactions within our accounting system.
• Manages purchasing and vendor contracts.
• Works with our accounting firm to generate all necessary financial statements and appropriate IRS filings.
• Generates quarterly financial reports for the board.
• Attends quarterly Board of Director's meetings to communicate financial records .
• Assists in the generation of the yearly budgets for PLW.
• Processes payment of all bills and prepares bank deposits.
• Assists with PLW sponsored functions including the Love for Life Gala fundraiser, Spring Social, Fall Gathering, March for Life D.C. Trip, and March for Life Wisconsin.
• Handles Human Resources activities of new employee orientation and payroll/benefit administration.

Reporting
The Operations Manager reports directly to the State Director and indirectly to the Board of Directors' Personnel Committee.

Employment Classification
The Operations Manager position at Pro-Life Wisconsin is a full-time, salaried position.
