Job Description

This is a full-time, on-site Customer Relationship Specialist role based in St Clair Shores, MI. The Customer Relationship Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for clients, responding to inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive experience across Metcom's products and services. This role will include managing day-to-day customer interactions, processing orders, proofing, order tracking, updating client portals, coordinating with internal teams (sales, production, and logistics), and proactively communicating status updates to customers. The specialist will gather and analyze customer feedback, identify opportunities to improve service, and support account growth by understanding client needs and recommending appropriate solutions. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining accurate customer records in CRM tools, monitoring service levels, and supporting special projects or campaigns that enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

Qualifications:
-Customer Service and Customer Support skills to handle inquiries, resolve issues, and maintain strong client relationships.
-Customer Satisfaction focuses on actively seeking feedback, addressing concerns, and promoting long-term client loyalty.
-Strong Communication skills (written and verbal) to interact clearly and professionally with customers and internal teams.
-Analytical Skills to interpret customer data, identify trends, and recommend improvements in processes or service delivery.
-Comfort utilizing technology and Ai tools to improve efficiencies.
-Ability to prioritize and manage multiple customer requests in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
-Proficiency with basic office software, CRM, and Microsoft tools.
-Previous experience in customer service, account coordination, or inside sales, preferably in B2B or distribution environments.
-High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, communications, or a related field is a plus.
