Job Description
SUMMARYThe Client Advocate will work under the supervision of the sonographer and is responsible for direct care to the client in the areas of education, referrals, and emotional support.
ESSENTIAL EXPECTATIONS

• Expresses a desire to reach at-risk patients considering abortion

• Uphold professional standards of personal presentation, punctuality, and professional courtesy.
• Communicate effectively and in a timely manner with all constituencies

RESPONSIBILITIES
Client Care
• Greets clients and create an appropriate client-advocate relationship by providing support in a pleasant and non-judgmental tone. Provides excellent client customer service.
• Assists sonographer in ultrasound exam room as needed.
• Evaluate clients stated needs to determine appropriate services; create and maintain client records
• Assists in client case management: phone follow-up: evaluation of client status, need for further supports and services
• Conducts client follow up calls and document results
• Provides education in the following areas:
- Harmful effects of abortion
- STI Education
- Prenatal Education
- Adoption Education
- Healthy relationships/Abstinence Education
• Participates in prayer as an integral part of each day for mobile staff and volunteers; share the Gospel in deed and word as the Spirit leads
• Creates/updates/maintain client records
• Assists with the day-to-day mobile operations, including but not limited to: stocking of supplies, documentation, and mobile mechanical operations
• Checks voicemail and email throughout the day. Ensure all communications are returned in a timely manner. Retrieve, sort and distribute all communication several times per day
Community Engagement
• Assists mobile operations when asked to Identify, establish, and cultivate relationships with community agencies and facilities which will meet the need of the client in the various mobile service location areas
• Assist swith the coordination of mobile tours, observations, community appearances, and participation at other venues on occasion, as opportunities arise
• Assists in evaluating need for in-house or community support services and makes appropriate referrals.
