Spanish Teacher

Job Description

Our Lady of Hope Catholic School is hiring a Spanish Teacher for grades 1-8, for the 2026-2027 school year. This position requires the candidate to teach both oral and written Spanish to students in Grades 1-8. The candidate must demonstrate good classroom management skills, develop engaging lessons with written plans, schedule and prepare students for oral and written exams, and provide feedback through timely grading of submitted work and trimester report cards. Specific preparation for students in the 8th grade as they are required to take a diocesan world langauge assessment at the end of the year.

Ideal candidate has:
Virginia state licensure or the ability to obtain VCEA certification
Bachelor's degree (Spanish Language and teaching or related area preferred)
Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
