Job Description

Catholic Mutual Group (CMG), established in 1889, is the leading provider of property, liability, and employee benefit coverage and related services for the Catholic Church throughout the United States and Canada. We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team as a Loss Control Representative in our Omaha, NE office.

Position Overview
The Loss Control Representative is responsible for delivering risk management services to CMG members by conducting on-site safety inspections, promoting safety awareness, and providing educational resources. This position plays a key role in helping Catholic institutions reduce risk exposures through training, documentation, safety materials, and contract review support. The role offers a blend of fieldwork, member interaction, and content creation, with travel required throughout the region.

Key Responsibilities
• Conduct safety inspections for member locations and provide detailed reports
• Promote safety awareness through educational seminars and presentations
• Write safety-related articles and contribute to other risk management publications
• Distribute safety materials and resources to member organizations
• Assist members with evaluating and reviewing contracts
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Catholic institutions
• Provide guidance and support on risk management best practices

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience preferred
• Experience in conducting safety inspections is a plus
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel; PowerPoint experience preferred
• Ability to learn new duties and adapt to evolving responsibilities
• Strong public relations and presentation abilities
• Ability to travel approximately 30-50% of the time
