Job Description

The ideal is a practicing Catholic able to engage students in the Catholic faith and love of Jesus Christ. Candidates will demonstrate a desire to promote character, virtue and help students grow in holiness. The candidate will be open to growth and have enthusiasm for learning. They will enthusiastically provide support for classroom instruction in a private school, face-to-face environment teaching, and supporting the educational goals and objectives of Ave Maria Catholic School and the mission of the Catholic Church. Candidates must communicate effectively with students, parents, peer educators, and administrators and be a positive, willing member of a collaborative team of teachers.

Requirements for this role:
Candidates must have a current early childhood professional Level 1 in Version 3 as determined by the Colorado Department of Education (PDID) or be willing to obtain Colorado teaching licensure. Candidates must pass a background check and complete VIRTUS training.
