Job Description
St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church and School in Medford, a school of 350 students is seeking one full-time Language Arts teacher, grades 5-6 for the 2025-2026 school year. The successful candidate would serve as a 6th grade homeroom teacher responsible for teaching the core curriculum in Literature for grade 5, and writing in grades 5-6.A successful candidate should have experience in teaching at the middle school level and be committed to a Catholic education. Candidates should possess knowledge of current best practices, familiarity with effective instructional strategies including differentiated instruction, Google Classroom, and educational technology. A deep knowledge of literature, reading comprehension strategies, and various writing genres and techniques is fundamental to the role.
Minimum qualifications: NJ Teaching Certificate K-8th or Content Area Certification, fingerprinting/background check
