Job Description

St. Mary of the Lakes Catholic Church in Medford, a growing community, is seeking one Full Time Maintenance/Custodian Coordinator for the church.

The qualified candidate will be responsible for specific daily cleaning duties, knowledge of building systems, opening/locking buildings, general security, dealing with vendors, supervising contractors and managing projects. Ensure that the facilities are fully operational, safe, clean, and neat. Set up and break down for ministry and social activities. Perform ongoing repairs for the buildings such as light electrical, light plumbing and painting. Ability to safely use common power and hand tools to do simple repairs (doors/windows/gutters).
The candidate must have effective communication skills and be a self-starter with good time management. The Maintenance/Custodian Coordinator will function as the contact for outside contractors and inspectors coming onto the property or into the building.

The Maintenance/Custodian Coordinator reports to the Facilities Manager. Hours are 7:30am-4:00pm. Benefits: Full-Time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, paid time off, and 403b retirement savings. Compensation will be commensurate with experience. The hourly rate for this position is $18.22 - $22.05 per hour. Schedule will include some overtime and potential work on holidays.
