Job Description

Blessed Sacrament Catholic Academy is seeking a motivated and mission-driven Grade 4 teacher to join our dedicated faculty for the 2025-2026 school year.

Ideal Candidate Will:
-Hold a Bachelor's degree
-Have NYS Certification or proof of pathway toward certification
-Plan rigorous lessons aligned to the NYS Next Generation Standards
-Integrate technology to support learning and student assessment
-Demonstrate strong classroom management and differentiated instruction
-Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the school's academic and faith-based goals
-Be a practicing Catholic who actively supports the mission of Catholic education

Employment Requirements (prior to start date):
Background check clearance
Signed Diocese of Brooklyn Code of Conduct
Completion of VIRTUS training
Up-to-date immunization record
Proof of U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization
