Job Description:Start typing here Position Summary: Sacred Heart Catholic School is a small, multiage school located in Gervais, Oregon and is seeking to hire a full-time 5th & 6th grade teacher. Sacred Heart Catholic School is a community of faith that is welcoming, collaborative, and driven to support the academic excellence of all students. Our school strives to form children in knowledge, virtue, and the spiritual life in a safe and positive educational environment that they may develop into active Catholics, effective communicators, responsible citizens, and life-long learners.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Teach a multiage classroom of two consecutive grade levels

Other Skills Required or Preferred:
• Practicing Catholic
• Previous teaching experience preferred
• Works cooperatively, communicates clearly and respectfully, and actively participates with school staff, students, and parents
• Maintain a classroom atmosphere conducive to learning for all students
