Church of the Madalene
Family Faith Formation Director

The scope of the Director of Family Faith Formation is to develop and support programs and initiatives aimed to promote the mission of the Church of the Madalene in areas of evangelization, faith formation, and sacramental preparation as they pertain to family life.
This position is flexible and can be structured as either full-time or part-time depending on availability and preferences. This position will require the ability to work flexible hours on weekends and evenings as needed by the ministry.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and direct family faith formation for parish families, emphasizing liturgical living.
- Oversee Reconciliation/Confirmation/First Communion preparation.
- Help with the transition of restored order at our parish for the Sacraments of Initiation.
- Coordinate family-based sacramental preparation.
- Coordinate and organize at-church sacramental prep sessions and provide accountability and guidance for at-home sessions.
- Equip and support parents in fulfilling their role as primary educators of their children.
- Coordinate and oversee summer programs such as VBS and Totus Tuus.
- Manage VIRTUS compliance of volunteers in the parish.

Qualifications:
- A practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church, with a commitment to ongoing formation.
- A deep understanding of Catholic teaching, evangelization, catechesis, and discipleship.
- Proven experience in parish ministry leadership, particularly in evangelization and faith formation.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in volunteer coordination.
