Second Grade Homeroom Teacher - The Basilica School of Saint Mary (Alexandria, VA)
The Basilica School of Saint Mary, a Catholic Pre-K through eighth-grade parish school in Alexandria, Virginia, is seeking an outstanding Second Grade Homeroom Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year. The second grade teacher will work closely with a collaborative team dedicated to academic excellence and each student's intellectual, spiritual, and character formation. Qualified candidates will fully embrace the mission of our Catholic school, which recognizes the infinite value of each student and seeks to develop the gifts of all, always with an eye to their eternal destiny. Ideal candidates will hold a Master's degree, hold or be willing to work towards certification, and have strong elementary instructional experiences.
Applicants must submit a completed application to the Diocese of Arlington at Diocesan Application and be certified or eligible for certification in Virginia. The Basilica School seeks candidates who fully embrace our Catholic mission to nurture saints, stewards, and scholars.
