Job Description

Chesterton Academy of St. Padre Pio seeks to hire qualified, faithful individuals to join our vibrant and growing team. Faculty positions are available part-time. Full-time position considered if a candidate can work to support other areas of need in the school such as social media marketing and student engagement in addition to teaching responsibilities.

Humanities - Classical Literature, Ancient History, Latin 2 & 3

• A bachelor's degree (or higher) in the subject matter being taught is required; teaching experience or training in classical/liberal arts education is also preferred.

Ideal candidates demonstrate strong proficiency in content knowledge, teaching ability, classroom management, organizational skills, and written and verbal communication skills. Accompanying these should be a passion to inspire wonder and excellence in students. In addition to responsibilities as instructors, teachers will play an important role in helping to build a strong culture at the school through their participation in daily Mass, spiritual retreats and other school activities.
