Position Summary
The Director of Student Leadership & OCIA oversees the in-House mission that comes forth from St. Thomas More Center. This role is charged with forming Spirit-filled student apostles for the New Evangelization. This role exists to raise up college students who are deeply rooted in Scripture, alive in the Holy Spirit, grounded in Catholic doctrine, and sent as bold missionaries of the Church.
Through dynamic leadership formation and faithful oversight of OCIA, this director ensures that every student who encounters Jesus Christ is accompanied into deeper discipleship, sacramental life, and missionary identity.
This position requires flexibility, creativity, and a posture of discernment. All responsibilities are contingent upon the gifts, charisms, and complementary strengths of the director and the staff team. In addition to the core responsibilities below, this leader will personally lead one ongoing Bible study or men's/women's discipleship group.

Build a culture across all ministries of ownership, holiness, collaboration, and apostolic zeal, ensuring each student leader sees their ministry as a means of evangelization.
Provide intentional pastoral accompaniment and one-on-one discipleship to each member of the Mission Executive Team, helping them grow as both leaders and disciples.
Ensure that every ministry remains rooted in Scripture, aligned with Catholic teaching, and oriented toward evangelization, forming mature disciples who become missionaries on campus and beyond.
The goal is not simply capable volunteers, but mature disciples who become missionaries on campus and beyond.
