Technology STEM Teacher

Job Description

Minimum qualifications:
• BA/BS from accredited college or university
• Hold Teacher's License endorsed in area of assignment - or working towards certification
• Demonstrated expertise in subject area Knowledge and experience with teaching computer science,
programming skills, information literacy, digital citizenship and media production.
Performance Responsibilities:
• Teach in a manner consistent with the academic, social, moral and religious teachings of the Catholic
Church
• support K-8 teachers to implement engaging software activities for differentiation.
• Design lessons, units, projects, and classroom activities to convey computational thinking to K-8 students.
• Create a positive classroom environment by teaching and modeling Catholic values.
• Excellent communication and collaborative/learning skills.
• Effective classroom management skills.
• Excellent organizational and academic skills.
• Energetic, creative, innovative, flexible.
Summary of Additional Expectations:
• Management of chromebook class sets.
