Job Description

The Dominican Province of St Albert the Great and their Province Center staff is growing. We are seeking a Benefits Analyst to join our dynamic Business Team!

For 800 years the mission of the Order of Preachers has been to proclaim the Gospel to every corner of the world. We do this for one simple reason: that every soul may come to know and love Jesus Christ. It was for this reason that St. Dominic de Guzman founded the Order of Preachers in 1216. We, the Province of St Albert the Great (Central USA), are a region of the Order serving the Midwest, Puerto Rico and beyond. Our provincial offices are located in the Pilsen neighborhood of Chicago.

A Benefits Analyst is responsible for administering and communicating benefit programs for the members of our Province. A benefits analyst is an integral member of the business department, specializing in health benefits, retirement plans, and other compensation programs. The position requires knowledge of federal and state regulations governing employee benefits and the ability to interpret data on benefit usage, costs, and satisfaction. They collaborate closely with other Province staff team members and communicate complex information clearly. The position makes sure that members of the Province's benefits are maximized and compliant.

This is a full time position with an in-person work location requirement (Chicago, IL 60608).

Compensation is $50,000 - $60,000 annually. Compensation is based on qualifications, education, and relevant experience of the candidate.

Location: must be local to Chicago and able to work on-site in our Chicago office.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field. Required education may be substituted by additional years of experience.
Preferred experience with benefits administration to include medical and dental plans, retirement plans, prescription plans, and government issued medical programs.
Knowledge of various laws concerning retirement plans and government benefits.
Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency.
Highly organized and efficient team player with a service attitude.
Excellent communication skills.
