Elementary School Teacher
Duties:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the curriculum
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and growth
- Provide early intervention and support to students who require additional assistance
- Utilize effective teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students
- Incorporate technology and other resources to enhance learning experiences
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in professional development opportunities
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment
- Foster a love for reading by utilizing library services and promoting literacy
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
- Valid teaching certification or license
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a classroom setting
Knowledge of Catholicism and its teachings.
- Knowledge of early intervention strategies and techniques
- Familiarity with tutoring methods and resources
- Understanding of autism spectrum disorders and effective teaching approaches for students with autism
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to effectively manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment
