Job Description

Videographer-Editor
Reports to: Director of Production

Job Overview:

The St. Paul Center for Biblical Theology has been faithfully following the lead of Dr. Scott Hahn for 25 years, bringing the transformative power of Sacred Scripture to clergy, scholars, and laity. With our new state-of-the-art studio in Steubenville, Ohio, we are expanding our production of premier online short courses, Bible studies, podcasts, and high-quality educational content that form and inspire.

We are seeking a Videographer/Editor to support our Director of Production in executing our mission by producing a variety of audio and video projects, primarily for our Digital Library and App content, but also for YouTube videos, in-depth theological studies, fundraising materials, and live event productions. This role will also collaborate closely with the Marketing Team to develop compelling promotional content for books, events, and digital resources.

Responsibilities:

Technical Proficiency: Work comfortably within the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Premiere and Audition) and other professional editing and production tools, including but not limited to ATEM/OBS and Streamyard for live production. Extra consideration will be given to candidates with high proficiency in Motion Graphics and Visual Effects.
Video & Audio Editing: Edit short-form video, long-form video, and audio projects while ensuring timely delivery and high production standards.
Studio Production: Operate in a multi-camera studio environment to produce high-quality video and audio content.
Content Creation: Collaborate with the Production Team to develop substantive images, videos, and audio content that align with the St. Paul Center's mission and visual identity.
Storytelling & Target Audience Focus: Understand customer insights and craft engaging, educational, and inspiring content that effectively resonates with a broad Catholic audience.
On-Camera Direction: Provide clear direction to on-screen participants, ensuring professional and dynamic performance.
Mission-Driven Mindset: Demonstrate a commitment to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ through media and contributing to a collaborative, faith-centered work environment.
Qualifications:

Experience in videography, editing, and production within a studio or field setting.
Strong technical knowledge of camera operation, lighting, and audio recording.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
Passion for Catholic theology, evangelization, and digital media.

What We Offer:

Competitive Compensation & Benefits - A salary and benefits package that supports you and your family.
Growth & Development - Opportunities to advance your career within a mission-driven organization committed to excellence in Catholic media.
Creative & Collaborative Culture - Work alongside a passionate team in a dynamic, faith-filled environment that values innovation.
Meaningful Impact - Be part of projects that educate, inspire, and evangelize, helping to bring the richness of Scripture to the world.
