Job Description

All Saints Catholic School is seeking applicants for the position of physical education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

Position Summary
The physical education teacher provides instruction in accordance with the curriculum guidelines for the diocese, integrating Catholic values and supporting the mission of Catholic education.

The teacher is responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment that challenges students, encourages intellectual curiosity, and promotes the formation of the whole person.

Ideal candidates have a deep devotion to the Catholic faith, expertise in their content area, strong classroom management skills, and experience communicating with parents. Additionally, candidates should have a passion for teaching, a love for their students, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with other faculty and staff members.

Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in education or related field and Virginia state licensure or the ability to obtain VCEA (Virginia Catholic Education Association) certification.

Salary
Compensation is based on a step pay scale that provides pay based on degree level and years of teaching experience, ranging from $46,000 for Bachelors with less than 1 year of teaching experience to $65,000 for 16+ years of teaching experience, with pro-ration for positions scheduled to work less than 40 hours per week.

Salary Range: $46,000 - $65,000 annually
