Field Advocate for Mission Integration

Job Description

The Diocese of Duluth - serving ten counties in Northeastern Minnesota - is seeking a highly skilled and passionate leader to serve as our Field Advocate for Mission Integration. This position is responsible to intentionally accompany the parishes of the mission fields located in the diocese in listening to the Holy Spirit and bringing about deeper healing, hope, and joy in Jesus. The ideal candidate is a mission-driven leader with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ready to support local leaders in planning and implementing tactics that reflect the diocesan goals and strategies - fostering clarity, coordination, and renewed energy for mission at the parish level. This pivotal role will assist mission fields in establishing mission field leaders and building organizational structures and teams that enhance collaboration within the mission field, between mission fields, and with the diocesan pastoral center, while ensuring accountability to diocesan goals, strategies, and tactics. A Bachelor's degree in theology, pastoral ministry, a related field of study, or equivalent is strongly desired, along with a minimum of three years of experience in parish leadership or on a parish team; other relevant experience would include parish or diocesan ministry, leadership development, pastoral planning, or organizational coaching.

The salary range for this position is $58,000 to $68,0000 depending on qualifications. Additionally, the Diocese of Duluth has a robust benefits package including medical, dental, and vision coverage as well as a 403b with employer match.
