Job Description

WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?

Join a small, high-impact marketing and innovation agency serving mission-driven, faith-based, and values-aligned organizations. You'll help keep projects on track, clients happy, and the team focused-while developing into a long-term strategic leader.

This role is a direct path to becoming an Account Manager. We're hiring Account Coordinators with the intention of promoting two to Account Manager within 6-8 months. From there, exceptional performers in strategy or creative leadership may be eligible for promotion to Account Director within a year.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support sales and discovery calls by taking notes, offering insight, and updating our CRM
• Collaborate with strategists and account sponsors to plan and set client strategy
• Act as liaison between clients and project teams
• Lead project management for internal and client-facing marketing and innovation work
• Contribute to process development and agency improvement
• Partner with Account Managers and senior team to ensure client success
• Manage and execute internal growth projects
• [Optional] Contribute to project implementation in a technical or creative skill area

SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Hard Skills:

• Project management tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com)
• Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive)
• CRM systems (especially HubSpot)
• Client service and sales support
• Marketing strategy knowledge across digital and traditional channels
• Familiarity with design thinking, agile workflows, and lean business methods
• Marketing domain expertise (e.g. copywriting, design, SEO, social media, etc.)

Soft Skills:

• Clear, professional communicator
• Highly organized and detail-oriented
• Calm and adaptable under pressure
• Self-directed and reliable
• Team-oriented with a growth mindset

COMPENSATION

This position starts as project-based, hourly contract work at 5-20 hours/week, with a clear path to part-time and then full-time employment in three structured phases. Starting compensation is $26.66-$44.31/hr based on the task performed with additional commission-based sales compensation available.

CAREER PATH & ADVANCEMENT

• 6-8 months - Consideration for full or part-time Account Manager positions (salary range: $70,000-$97,000)
• 12-24 months - Top-performing Account Managers may be considered for Account Director (salary range: $100,000-$140,000)
