Bilingual Video Editor (Spanish & English)Location: Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, La Crosse, Wisconsin

The Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe in La Crosse, Wisconsin, faithful to the message of the Blessed Virgin Mary through her appearances on the American continent in 1531, serves the spiritual needs of those who suffer poverty in body and soul. It is a place of ceaseless prayer for the corporal and spiritual welfare of God's children, especially those in most need.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Bilingual Video Editor fluent in both Spanish and English to take on contract work. The ideal candidate has the technical video and audio editing skills to produce engaging content for social media and YouTube. You will be responsible for editing video, adding b-roll, music, and subtitles to all videos.
Key Responsibilities:
Edit video footage provided to you in a way that maintains an engaging pace.
Add b-roll, music, sound effects, and graphics to enhance video quality and viewer engagement.
Edit and clean up audio for clarity and consistency.
Collaborate with the video production manager to ensure each video matches the brand of the Shrine.
Stay up-to-date with current trends in video editing, social media, and YouTube best practices.
Manage and organize video assets and project files.
Required Qualifications:
Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and spoken).
Proficiency with video editing software: DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, or equivalent.
Experience editing for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) and YouTube (shorts and long-form).
Strong understanding of audio editing and sound mixing.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with the video production manager.
Knowledge of Catholic traditions and values.
