Job Description
Bishop Ireton High School is seeking a full-time English teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at our campus in Alexandria, Virginia. Candidates should be able to teach a literature-based curriculum with a strong emphasis on developing writing and research skills.Candidates will:
• demonstrate professionalism in a collaborative environment.
• have strong communication skills.
• possess a bachelor's degree in English; master's degree preferred.
• possess or be willing to obtain a Virginia teaching license or VCEA license
• possess required citizenship, residency or work visa
• promote the Catholic mission of the school
