Position Overview:
We are seeking full-time K-8 Teachers (grade-level placement based on school needs) who will serve as a homeroom teacher and/or content-area teacher, supporting student growth in a structured, faith-centered environment. The ideal candidate is collaborative, joyful, and committed to the mission of Catholic education, with strong instructional practice and a student-first mindset.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a homeroom teacher (as assigned): lead daily prayer, take attendance, communicate with families, and coordinate classroom routines and community-building activities.

Plan and deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction in assigned grade level(s) and/or subject area(s), using varied, student-centered strategies to support all learners.

Develop students' core academic skills (as appropriate to grade level), including literacy foundations and/or reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while reinforcing strong habits of study and personal responsibility.

Create a positive, faith-centered classroom culture grounded in respect, consistency, and clear expectations.

Assess student learning using formal and informal measures, provide timely feedback, and adjust instruction based on data and student needs.

Communicate regularly with families regarding classroom expectations, student progress, and partnership opportunities.

Collaborate with colleagues and administration to strengthen curriculum, coordinate support services, and contribute to school-wide initiatives and events.

Minimum Qualifications:
Practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

Strong content knowledge in age-appropriate pedagogy.

Excellent classroom management, organization, and communication skills.

Willingness to collaborate and to engage in ongoing professional learning.

Preferred Qualifications:
NYS Teacher Certification (ELA or Childhood/Middle Grades) or eligibility/in progress.

Prior successful teaching experience.

Experience with differentiated instruction, writing workshops, and formative assessment.

Comfort with educational technology (Google Workspace, SIS platforms, digital literacy tools).

Employment Details:
Status: Full-time, exempt; school-year schedule with required school events.

Compensation: Competitive and commensurate with experience and credentials.
