Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Human Resources Director to lead our HR initiatives and foster a positive, compliant, and productive workplace environment. The ideal candidate will oversee all aspects of human resources management, including leadership and strategy, talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, benefits administration, compensation and compliance with employment laws. This role requires a proactive leader with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage HR Operations.

Duties
Oversee talent acquisition processes such as sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and employee orientation to attract talent.
Administer benefits programs including health insurance, workers' compensation, and retirement plans while ensuring compliance with applicable laws.
Ensure compliance with employment & labor law, safety regulations, and other relevant legal requirements through policy development and training.
Develop and lead performance management initiatives to evaluate employee performance, identify training & development opportunities, and support succession planning efforts.
Serve as Lead in the communication, interpretation, and upkeep of employee handbook, including periodic review of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal and local regulations.
Oversee payroll administration and compensation programs in a multi-state environment including benchmarking and periodic salary reviews.

Skills
Current and practical knowledge of human resources management practices including talent acquisition and management, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
Strong understanding of employment & labor law including FMLA and workers' compensation policies.
Excellent negotiation skills coupled with effective communication skills for engaging with employees at all levels.
Skilled in process improvement methodologies and change management strategies to optimize HR functions.
Demonstrated competency in managing HR projects within budget constraints while aligning with organizational goals.
Exceptional interpersonal skills. This position offers an opportunity for a dedicated HR professional to positively influence organizational culture while ensuring legal compliance and operational excellence across all human resources functions.
Ability to travel to Care Centers required. 10%
