Job Description
"The Church needs your talents."- Pope St. John Paul II, Letter to Artists
The Catholic Film Institute (CFI) is answering this call. As the first and only professional membership organization dedicated exclusively to uniting Catholic filmmakers and visual storytellers worldwide, CFI is building the infrastructure the New Evangelization demands-through cinema, new media, and emerging technologies.
We are seeking a talented Digital Content Strategist & Webmaster to steward CFI's digital presence at a pivotal moment in our growth. This individual will serve as both the technical backbone of our WordPress website and the creative voice behind our social media channels-ensuring that CFI's online presence reflects the excellence, beauty, and theological depth that define our apostolate.
This Role Is For You If:
• You are a practicing Catholic (or deeply mission-aligned) who understands the unique power of visual storytelling to evangelize and transform culture.
• You possess strong WordPress skills and can manage a professional website independently-from content updates and troubleshooting to SEO and analytics.
• You are a gifted communicator who can write compelling content and build engaged audiences across social media platforms.
• You thrive in a startup-stage apostolate environment where initiative, flexibility, and mission-driven creativity are essential.
• You appreciate that professional excellence and spiritual impact go hand in hand.
Key Details:
• Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week (1099 Independent Contractor), with a likely transition to full-time (1099 or W2) within six (6) months.
• Fully remote (United States).
• Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
• Preference given to candidates with Hivebrite or similar membership platform experience.
CFI's mission is the salvation of souls through Catholic visual storytelling, guided by the transcendentals of Truth, Goodness, and Beauty. If that mission stirs something in your heart, we want to hear from you.
