Job Description
Allclaims Pro, LLC is a licensed insurance claims adjusting firm. We're hiring a detail driven Full Charge Bookkeeper to run our day-to-day accounting operations; processing transactions accurately, keeping our books clean and current, and supporting a smooth monthly close. You'll work closely with our Accountant/Controller/CFO, who reviews your work and owns financial reporting and strategy. This role is for someone who takes pride in clean, accurate, on-time books and wants ownership of the transactional engine of the business.What You'll Do
1. Day-to Day Accounting
- Maintain the general ledger and the chart of accounts
- Record standard and recurring journal entries; prepare adjusting entries for Controller review
- Reconcile bank, credit card, and escrow accounts monthly
- Maintain fixed asset records and supporting documentation
- Keep accurate, well organized records in line with our retention policies
2. Accounts Payable
- Enter bills and route them through approval workflows
- Set up and manage vendor records
- Schedule and process payments via check, ACH, and wire within established approval limits
- Accounts Receivable
- Create and manage invoices
- Manage collections and maintain aging reports
- Process bad-debt write-offs per company policy
3. Payroll & Compliance Support
- Process payroll through our payroll provider, Gusto.
- Support multi-state payroll, garnishment processing, and leave/FMLA tracking
- Assist with 1099 preparation and filing
- Handle sales and use tax compliance and business personal property tax filings
- Support W-2 preparation and ACA tracking (1094/1095)

What We're Looking For
Required
- 3+ years of full charge bookkeeping experience
- Solid understanding of double entry bookkeeping and the monthly close cycle
- Hands-on AP, AR, reconciliation, and payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Google suite
- High accuracy, strong organization, and the discretion to handle sensitive financial data
- Comfort working within internal controls and approval workflows
Preferred
- Experience in insurance adjusting or other insurance related field
- Familiarity with escrow/trust account handling
- Multi-state payroll experience
