Job Description

Summary:
Working directly with the Director of Mission Advancement, School Administration and other associated departments, the Marketing Associate will aid the Administration of Immaculata High School as we work for the implementation and realization of the mission of Immaculata High School and the larger mission of the Catholic Church.
Primary Duties:
Working with the Board of Limited Jurisdiction, IHS Administration, Advancement Office and specifically under the Director of Mission Advancement, ensure marketing, public facing events and materials support the enrollment goals of the school, marketing goals and reflect our shared mission.
Working with the Digital Arts Teacher and specifically under the Chairperson for Fine Arts, the Marketing Associate will assist the teachers in the Fine Arts Department with the implementation of student programming.
Working with the Principal and IHS Marketing Team, maintain the marketing plan as it pertains specifically to Immaculata High School. Identify marketing opportunities and implement aspects of the marketing plan as needed. Create marketing materials as needed for the Immaculata HS Community. Take photos and basic reporting information at school events.
Working with the Principal and IHS Marketing Team, ensure that crossover marketing and events are cognizant of enrollment priorities and needs.
Working with the IHS Marketing Team, utilize social media and other electronic media sources to promote the school when asked. Provide organic and consistent material that may be used in social media to market the school as well as possible future use as general media content to community stakeholders.
Represent the school publicly at events including at enrollment and admissions events and efforts when asked by the IHS Marketing Team.
Represent the Marketing Team at school meetings and the interests of the office to school related personnel. Manage the school calendar of events and represent the needs to the IHS Marketing team.
Work with the school Administration to design marketing materials needed for general school events and business.
Work with the school Administration on Student Orientation efforts, welcome events and transitioning students and families from the admissions process to enrolled student status.
Minimum Qualifications:
Religion: Must be a practicing Catholic in good standing with a commitment to ongoing formation in catechetical and spiritual leadership development or a non-Catholic as approved by the Principal.
Education: Bachelors Degree or equivalent.
Experience: Related work experience. Particularly noteworthy experience in education and/or Catholic Schools. Will Train.
Required Special Skills: Ability to work and relate to teenagers. Digital media software (Adobe) knowledge necessary. Social Media. Photography.

Working Conditions:
Required to work some nights and weekends.
Required to manage high to moderate levels of stress
Required to work a full school day 7:30-3:30 (Flexible), M-F
Required to work in a standard school setting and office conditions.
Required to speak publicly.

Mental/Physical Demands:
Required to lift or carry classroom supplies, textbooks, furniture and school equipment to a minimum of 35 pounds
Required to maintain composure and avoid inappropriate displays of emotion
Required to sit, stand, bend, stoop, reach, grab, pull, hear, see, and speak on a daily basis
Required to perform repetitive physical tasks such as computer keyboarding, writing, and reading
Required to monitor students in a variety of locations and situations including those with noise, activity, and inclement weather.
