We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Physical Education and Health Teacher and Athletic Director to inspire students through engaging physical activities and to lead our athletic programs with enthusiasm and expertise. This role combines the passion for teaching physical education with the strategic oversight of athletic initiatives, fostering a vibrant sports culture within our school community.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a deep understanding of childhood development, and a proactive approach to sports coaching and curriculum development. The Physical Education and Health Teacher is responsible for fostering students' physical, social, emotional, and health development through engaging instruction and a positive learning environment. The teacher promotes lifelong wellness by helping students develop healthy habits, teamwork, sportsmanship, and an appreciation for physical activity.

Responsibilities
Plan and deliver age-appropriate physical education and health lessons aligned with curriculum standards.
Teach skills related to movement, fitness, sports, nutrition, personal wellness, and healthy decision-making.
Encourage participation, cooperation, respect, and good sportsmanship among students.
Assess student progress and provide feedback on skill development and understanding of health concepts.
Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive environment in the gymnasium, classroom, and outdoor activity areas.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all learners.
Supervise students during physical education classes and school-related activities.
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and administration regarding student progress and concerns.
Collaborate with faculty to support school-wide initiatives that promote student well-being.
Uphold school policies and contribute positively to the mission and values of the school community.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Physical and Health Education
Valid state teaching certification in Physical Education and Health.
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Ability to motivate students and foster a positive attitude toward health and fitness.
Commitment to creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
