Job Description
The Felician Sisters of North America is hiring a part-time Maintenance Technician to work at our administration office in Beaver Falls/North Sewickley Township, PA (north of Pittsburgh) with the possibility of periodically working at our Coraopolis facility. This is an on-site position for 20-29 hours per week, with additional hours as-needed.The part-time Maintenance Technician will work the day shift at the Beaver Falls Administrative Office (or Coraopolis as needed). Availability for on-call for evenings and weekends during emergencies. The schedule is anticipated to be Monday, Tuesday and Friday but days can be flexible.

Summary:
The Maintenance Technician maintains a clean and sanitary environment in the living, worship, and office areas. This position performs a full range of duties, including floor care, general janitorial responsibilities, trash removal, grounds maintenance (spring/summer/fall), snow removal (winter), and light maintenance tasks (electrical, plumbing, drywall, HVAC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Performs routine plumbing, electrical wiring, and other related maintenance activities.
Cleans snow from sidewalks and parking lots using snowplow, snow blower, and/or shovel.
Cleans floors and carpets on a routine basis to include vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, and waxing.
Dusts and/or polishes metal work, chrome, furniture, statues, window ledges, woodwork, walls, ceilings, and light fixtures.
Maintains and cleans restrooms and kitchens in a sanitary manner.
Removes garbage and trash from buildings and grounds.
Sets up and removes tables for meetings and other activities. Moves heavy furniture and equipment.
Loads and unloads supplies.
Cleans and maintains equipment and tools.
Performs routine painting and mid-level maintenance tasks as assigned, within the scope of the abilities.
Mow lawn, trim shrubbery, and cultivate flowers using hand tools and lawn equipment.
Makes rounds of building(s) and grounds at regular intervals. Inspects doors, windows, and locks. Assists in overall security efforts on the property. Observes appearance and condition of property and equipment; reports safety hazards or conditions requiring maintenance services.
Attends and participates in meetings, committees, seminars, conferences and in-service training programs as directed.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Available for on-call (evenings and weekends - only for emergencies)
Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Two (2) to five (5) years of general maintenance experience is preferred
Experience with drywall, painting, light electrical work, and plumbing repair is a plus.
Basic computer skills needed.
