Embers Academy is seeking a joyful, faith-filled, and dedicated 2nd Grade Teacher to join our faculty for the 2026-2027 school year.
Embers Academy is a private, independent Catholic school serving students in PreK through 5th Grade. Rooted in the Catholic faith, we partner with parents to cultivate each child's intellectual, moral, and spiritual formation. Our mission is to guide students in the pursuit of faith, knowledge, and virtue, recognizing every child as a gift from God. Responsibilities:
• Create a warm, engaging classroom where every student is known and loved.
• Plan and deliver rigorous, developmentally appropriate instruction across core subject areas.
• Foster intellectual curiosity, strong character, and a love of learning.
• Integrate the Catholic faith naturally into daily classroom life.
• Build strong partnerships with parents, recognizing them as the primary educators of their children.
• Collaborate closely with faculty and administration to support the mission of the school.
• Participate actively in the life of the school community through meetings, professional development, and school events.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
• A love for children and a desire to educate the whole child.
• Fidelity to the teachings of the Catholic Church.
• A bachelor's degree (education or liberal arts preferred).
• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills.
• A growth mindset and commitment to continual professional development.
• Previous elementary teaching experience is preferred but not required.
