Job Description
St. Matthew School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Math and Religion Teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.We are flexible in structuring this position and welcome both full-time and part-time applicants. The position would be part time if a candidate only prefers Math or only Religion, and would be full-time if teaching both Math and Religion.
The ideal candidate will foster a positive classroom environment, provide engaging and differentiated instruction, collaborate with colleagues and families, and support the mission of Catholic education.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Practicing Catholic if teaching Religion
- Strong classroom management and instructional skills
- Ability to build positive relationships with middle school students and families
- Commitment to collaborating with colleagues as part of a three-person middle school team
- Ability to integrate faith, service, and Catholic values into the school day
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Education or the appropriate content area
- Wisconsin teaching license
- Practicing Catholic
