High School Science Teacher

Job Description

Assumption High School is seeking a passionate, faith-filled educator to join our team for the 2026-2027 school year. We are seeking a candidate who is joyful, collaborative, and committed to providing engaging, student-centered instruction.

Responsibilities
-Plan and deliver engaging, standards-based instruction in assigned subject areas
-Differentiate instruction through a variety of teaching strategies, including small-group and individualized learning
-Maintain a structured, safe, and welcoming classroom environment that promotes a love of learning
-Assess student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date academic records
-Communicate effectively with students and parents through conferences and ongoing collaboration
-Foster students' spiritual development and model Catholic values in daily interactions
-Supervise students and uphold positive behavior expectations aligned with school policies
-Participate actively in faculty meetings, professional development, and school initiatives
-Adhere to all policies and expectations set forth by the Diocese of La Crosse

Qualifications
-Bachelor's degree required
-Valid Wisconsin teaching license or eligibility to obtain one
-Prior teaching experience preferred
-Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
-Demonstrated commitment to Catholic education and the mission of Assumption Catholic Schools

*This position is available on a full-time or part-time basis.
