Position Summary
Students for Life of America and Students for Life Action, led by President Kristan Hawkins, are seeking a Social Media Administrator for X (formerly Twitter) who lives and breathes politics, culture, and the pro-life movement.

This person will manage and grow multiple key accounts, including @KristanHawkins, @LydiaTayDavis, @StudentsforLife, and @SFLAction, with a sharp understanding of the political landscape, viral trends, and digital strategy. The ideal candidate has strong instincts for what drives engagement on X, can rapidly respond to breaking news, and knows how to shape cultural conversations in real time to advance the pro-life cause.

This role requires agility, discernment, and a passion for defending Life online. Because of the real-time nature of political and cultural events, the candidate must be willing and available to work evenings, weekends, and during major breaking news moments to ensure timely response and engagement.

Key Responsibilities
-Manage daily posting, scheduling, and engagement for Kristan Hawkins, Lydia Taylor, Students for Life of America, and Students for Life Action X accounts.
-Monitor breaking news and trending topics to craft timely, mission-aligned posts and responses.
-Write clear, compelling, and bold content that reflects the tone and voice of each account.
-Engage actively with followers, pro-life leaders, media figures, and critics to expand reach and strengthen the movement's presence on X.
-Identify strategic opportunities to join or lead trending conversations.
-Collaborate closely with the Social Media Manager and Media team to align cross-platform messaging.
-Create and execute real-time coverage plans for live events, campaigns, and rapid response moments.
-Track and analyze performance metrics to guide strategy and report on growth.
-Stay informed on platform updates, algorithm changes, and best practices to maintain optimal performance.

Qualifications
-Deep understanding of politics, culture, and the pro-life movement.
-Proven experience managing or growing a high-engagement X account, preferably in the political, advocacy, or cultural commentary space.
-Exceptional writing and communication skills with attention to tone and voice consistency.
-Ability to work quickly under pressure, especially during breaking news or cultural flashpoints.
-Familiarity with analytics and management tools such as Sprout.
-Strong understanding of X's algorithm, audience behavior, and influencer landscape.
-Willingness and availability to work evenings, weekends, and during breaking news events as needed.

Preferred Skills
-Experience in political communications, activism, or advocacy.
-Familiarity with major conservative and pro-life voices on X.
-Knowledge and experience with other social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, TikTok).
