Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY: THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR MANAGING AND DELIVERING THE DIOCESAN SAFE ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM TO ALL PARISHES AND SCHOOLS. IT ALSO IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ADMINISTRATIVE SUPPORT TO THE OFFICE OF HUMAN RESOURCES.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
• Responsible for oversight, operation and maintenance of the Safe Environment Program and Policies, specifically the program's compliance monitoring and reporting.
• Trains the Safe Environment Coordinators in parishes, schools and agencies to ensure compliance with all aspects of the program, including record keeping and training.
• Responsible for effectively screening and training all clergy, religious, employees and volunteers according to diocesan policies and procedures.
• Maintains data basis for the purpose of tracking and reporting compliance of all parishes, schools and agencies.
• Responsible for audit requirements according to USCCB.
• Works with Managing Director of Human Resources on the work of the Bishop's Advisory Board.
• Maintains updated information for Safe Environment and Office of Human Resources on diocesan website.
• Assists in providing training materials for parishes, schools and agencies regarding diocesan payroll and benefit programs.
• Assists with maintenance of personnel and payroll files while maintaining confidentiality.
• Responsible for On-Boarding data entry information
• Responsible for processing Office of Human Resources financials, including check requests, reimbursements and monthly expense reports.
• Works with Managing Director of Human Resources on immigration issues and protocols.
ON-GOING "MAINTENANCE" DUTIES
• Manage accounts payable, purchasing and other related administrative tasks.
• Assists Benefits Manager with employee communication issues.
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• A Catholic in good standing, who understands and supports the mission of the Church and of the Diocese of Savannah.
• Knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite programs.
• A college degree in Business or Human Resources is preferred with 3+ years of work experience in a related field.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and administrative management skills.

• Ability to anticipate needs, establish priorities, project positive attitude and exercise a high level of professionalism.
• Commitment o keeping confidentiality.
RELATIONSHIP REQUIREMENTS
• This position works closely with parishes and pastors, Catholic schools leadership, all departments at the CPC, with a integral working relationship with finance/payroll.

• Must be willing to vision the future of work, including efficiencies through use of technology.
