Job Description

Aid for Women is seeking a full-time Helpline Advocate at our Chicago Loop location.

The Helpline Advocate is responsible for providing abortion-alternative support to Aid for Women clients through the scheduling of client support services. The Helpline Advocate must possess a passionate commitment to Aid for Women's vision and mission, which include a strong commitment to pro-life and sexual integrity values.

The Helpline Advocate's responsibilities include: being the frontline point of contact for all inbound calls to the Helpline during business hours, ability to convert a high percentage of contacts to scheduled appointments, ability to educate callers on all services offered, ability to de-escalate issues using customer service soft skills, scheduling all appointments that were booked online using the scheduler tool, completing accurate and timely documentation of every inbound contact, completing accurate reporting on a monthly, quarterly, annual, and as-needed basis. Candidates for the Helpline Advocate position must have completed a Bachelor's degree and possess excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, and strong customer service, call center, or sales experience.
