Job Description

Saints Peter and Paul Elementary School is seeking a qualified candidate to teach fifth grade for the 2026 - 2027 school year. The ideal candidate will implement intellectually stimulating activities for intermediate aged-students, plan and execute exceptional instruction, communicate professionally with all members of the school community, commit to professional growth, collaborate with parents/guardians to ensure the developmental success of each student, create a safe classroom environment, and cultivate a classroom of inquiry and fun. The successful candidate will possess a true passion for working with students. Candidates must be committed to the ministry of Catholic education by supporting the teachings, values, and traditions of the Catholic Church, contributing to the faith life of the school, and modeling and promoting the mission and charism of the school.

Required Qualifications:
Hold or be eligible for Maryland or Delaware licensing/certification
Minimum of a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution/university in the area of elementary education
Teaching experience preferred (at least 3 years)
Clearances on all required background checks
