Job Description

Marin Catholic currently has an opening for a full-time Co-Dean of Students starting in the 2026-27 school year.
* Position will begin August 2026.

Marin Catholic is seeking someone who will help advance our Mission by fostering a greater sense of personal and social responsibility among our students. The Co-Deans are responsible for the communication and enforcement of the Student Code of Behavior as outlined in the Student/Parent Handbook. Primary to the role is the establishment, communication and enforcement of disciplinary procedures to both enrich and secure the school environment, and the development of trust with teachers, students, and parents to inspire confidence that school rules will be enforced consistently and fairly. The Co-Deans of Students have significant influence over the climate of student culture, acting in th spirit of our Catholic mission.

The Co-Deans are report directly to the Asst. Principal for Student Affairs and Operations.

Duties of the Co-Deans include:

-Oversight of all policies regarding the Student Code of Behavior and its daily enforcement.
-Management and monitoring of campus supervision, as well as co- and extra-curricular events.
-Meeting with students regarding issues related to behavior; follow up with parents, teachers, counselors; determination and implementation of appropriate consequences; monitoring behavior contracts.
-Oversight of Student Activities and Divisional Moderators.
-With the Campus Security Supervisor, management and execution of the campus emergency plans and procedures.
-Performs other duties as determined by the Principal (which may include teaching).;

Qualifications, experience, knowledge & skills for the position:

-Bachelor's degree
-Experience with students in a Catholic high school setting, preferred
-Practicing Catholic in good standing, preferred
-Desire to share his/her faith journey
-Intellectually curious and willing to grow professionally
-Student focused and lifelong learner
-Ability to collaborate effectively with faculty, students and staff
-Maintains best professional practices in communicating with peers, students and parents

The annualized salary for this position is $105,000 - $115,000.
