Job Description

Development Director Little Flower School
Reports to: Principal
FLSA Status: Hourly, non-exempt

Summary:
Little Flower Catholic School is seeking a dynamic, ambitious, and mission-driven Part-Time Development Director to support the growth and advancement of our school community. The ideal candidate will be an energetic relationship-builder with strong organizational and communication skills, a passion for Catholic education, and experience in development, fundraising, or community engagement.

The Development Director will play a vital role in strengthening school advancement efforts by fostering alumni engagement, supporting key fundraising initiatives, enhancing the school's public presence, and serving as an ambassador for our school community.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop, organize, and maintain a comprehensive alumni database to strengthen alumni engagement and outreach efforts
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of the school's signature fundraising and community events
Manage and maintain the school's social media presence, creating engaging content that highlights school life, events, accomplishments, and mission
Conduct school tours for prospective families, serving as a welcoming and knowledgeable representative of the school
Support advancement and enrollment initiatives through effective communication and relationship-building
Collaborate with school leadership to promote the mission and vision of the school
Assist with donor stewardship, event promotion, and other development-related projects as needed

Qualifications:
Previous experience in development, fundraising, marketing, communications, or advancement work preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with database management and social media platforms
Ability to work collaboratively and build strong relationships with families, alumni, parishioners, and community stakeholders
Professional, welcoming, and enthusiastic presence
Commitment to supporting the mission and values of Catholic education
