Job Description

Announcing an extraordinary opportunity to utilize your existing skillset in non-profit fundraising data with an outstanding organization. The Pontifical North American College is seeking a Donor Database & Gift Processing Manager (DDGPM) to join our team. While the College itself is based in Rome, the Office of Institutional Advancement (OIA) is in Northeast Washington, DC near the Catholic University of America campus (Brookland stop on the Metro Red Line). The position reports directly to the Executive Director.

Are you looking for a highly structured, bureaucratic office environment? If so, ignore this position! The OIA is comprised of a small, flexible, and independent team. While we have basic processes and procedures, we value self-starters and problem solvers.

The DDGPM oversees our hosted Raiser's Edge/NXT database *and* gift management process. Principal duties include but are not limited to: oversight of automated and manual gift entry across all giving platforms; generation of acknowledgement letters; production of donor/gift reports and queries; depositing and proper coding of paper checks and electronic transactions; reconciliation of fundraising and accounting departmental data; analysis of giving data; maintaining database accuracy and integrity through careful entry and thoughtful cleanup projects; use of online data mining for missing or incomplete information to maintain the integrity of the database.

For consideration, a candidate must have: at least 3 years of related experience, preferably in a development, higher education, or nonprofit setting; BA/BS degree preferred; experience with database management (preferably Raiser's Edge); computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel; exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks; strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

A competitive salary and benefits package are available. The OIA office building offers free parking. Preferred start date is immediate.

For consideration, please email your resume and cover letter as a single PDF to:
