OPPORTUNITY DESCRIPTION

eCatholic is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Marketing Data Operations Specialist to join our growing marketing team. This role will be instrumental in maintaining data integrity within our HubSpot platform and leveraging data-driven insights to drive targeted marketing campaigns, cross-sell, and upsell opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data management, exceptional analytical skills, and past exposure to marketing.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Key responsibilities for this role:

Data Management and Integrity:
- Own and manage the data within HubSpot, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and completeness of information.
- Implement and maintain data quality standards, processes, and best practices to minimize errors and duplicates.
- Regularly audit and clean databases to eliminate outdated or irrelevant records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues, discrepancies, and inconsistencies in a timely manner.
- Work with in-house developers to maintain integrations between HubSpot and internal data sources.

List Creation and Segmentation:
- Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand campaign objectives and target audience criteria.
- Utilize HubSpot's segmentation and list-building capabilities to create targeted email lists and audience segments.
- Conduct data analysis and segmentation to identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities among existing contacts and clients.
- Optimize list hygiene and segmentation strategies to improve campaign performance and deliverability.
- Work with customer success to identify automated touch points throughout the client lifecycle to reduce churn and promote cross-sells.

Marketing Automation Support:
- Assist in building and maintaining marketing workflows and automation processes in HubSpot.
- Work closely with the content team to identify trigger events and criteria for automated workflows.
- Test and optimize workflows, emails, and messaging with the content team to ensure seamless execution and alignment with marketing goals.
- Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to enhance workflow efficiency and effectiveness.

Data Analysis and Insights:
- Analyze marketing data and metrics to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for optimization.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and measure the impact of marketing initiatives.
- Create reports and dashboards for other teams.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to drive informed decision-making and strategy development.
- Support the sales team by providing data insights and ensuring deal data stays accurate.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage data insights for targeted marketing campaigns and client engagement efforts.

Continuous Improvement and Training:
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in data management and marketing automation.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation enhancements to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.
- Maintain clean, streamlined data by identifying data that should be in HubSpot and any old data that can be removed.
- Provide training and support to team members on data management best practices, HubSpot functionalities, and marketing automation tools.
- Create standard operating procedures for manual data entry by other teams.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Information Management, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data operations, database management, or marketing analytics, preferably in a SaaS or technology company.
- Proficiency in HubSpot or similar marketing automation platforms. Experience working with HubSpot is a huge plus.
- Analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and extract actionable insights.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills, with a focus on data accuracy and integrity.
- Understanding of marketing principles and strategies, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and a continuous improvement mindset.
- An understanding of hierarchical structures within the Catholic Church.
