Job Description

The Diocese of Gary is seeking an experienced HRIS Manager to manage ADP Workforce Now, maintain HR data integrity, support compliance requirements, and serve as backup for payroll. This role supports both the Pastoral Center and parish/school locations.

This role is responsible for maintaining, updating, and auditing employee data in ADP Workforce Now, providing end-user training and ensuring accurate payroll and benefits data integration. Additional responsibilities include creating and managing HR, compliance, and executive reports (including BLS, EEO, SOC, and quarterly combo state returns), overseeing HR compliance areas including FMLA, ADA, ACA, and unemployment administration, and supporting recruitment, onboarding, and orientation activities.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, information systems or a related field with a master's degree in HR, an MBA, or a related discipline preferred. Experience with HRIS systems (ADP Workforce Now preferred), strong data management, reporting, and analytical skills, and knowledge of HR compliance and payroll processes are key. SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, HRIP (Human Resource Information Professional) or other HRIS-specific certifications are preferred but not required.
