Job Description

Little Flower Catholic School in Hollywood, Florida has an opening for a qualified Grades 3-4 Teacher for the 2025-26 school year to teach English- Language Arts and Social Studies. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for students. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of experience.

Qualifications:
• BS / BA Degree in Elementary Education or related subject.
• FDOE Teaching Certification in Elementary Education required; Statement of Eligibility considered.
• Must be Catechist certified or working towards catechist certification.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Ability to work well as a team member.
• Excellent presentation skills with use of instructional technologies.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Strong and effective oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
