Job Description

St. Agnes Academy in Key Biscayne (Dade County), Florida is looking to hire a qualified 4th Grade Teacher for the current school year. The ideal candidate is passionate about teaching and helping students learn and apply the fourth-grade curriculum. This teacher will be expected to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for fourth grade students. The Fourth Grade Teacher performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami. Salary will vary based on certification and years of service.

Qualifications:
• BS / BA Degree in Education.
• FDOE Teaching Certificate in Elementary Education, temporary or professional required.
• Excellent classroom management skills.
• Strong presentation skills, using instructional technologies.
• Proficiency with technologies such as iPad and Canvas, Plus Portals, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel; PowerPoint a plus.
• Excellent oral and written English -language communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
• Good spelling and grammar required.
• Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
• Must have knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
• Must have a professional demeanor.
