Job Description
School Social Worker -The Academy of the Holy Angels, an all-girl college preparatory school in Demarest, NJ, is seeking applications for a School Social Worker starting July 1, 2026. The Social Worker reports to the Dean of Students and is responsible for helping students and families make the best use of available opportunities and resources and to fully develop each student's individual potential. Duties include, but are not limited to, educating the community on mental health issues and ways to reduce stress, moderating the Power Back club, bringing in guest speakers to educate the student body on various topics, and working closely with the Dean of Students to navigate complex social issues throughout the student body. Candidates should possess a MSW and a LCSW is preferred. The Academy of the Holy Angels offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience along with a generous benefits package including health/dental/vision/life insurance, diocesan pension and 401K.
