Bellarmine Preparatory School in Tacoma, WA has partnered with Partners in Mission in the search for the next Principal. Founded in 1928, Bellarmine is a coeducational, Jesuit, Catholic, college preparatory high school serving approximately 900 students in grades 9-12. The school is a member of the Jesuit Schools Network, a global community of schools in the United States and around the world dedicated to forming young people who are intellectually competent, open to growth, loving, religious and committed to justice.

Bellarmine is accredited by Cognia, is in good standing with the National Catholic Educational Association, and has a Certificate of Private School Approval from the Washington State Board of Education. Its 44-acre campus, located in the scenic city of Tacoma, offers sweeping views of Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound, while serving a diverse community across the South Sound region.

The Principal serves as the chief academic, spiritual, and student life leader of Bellarmine, providing vision and leadership to ensure that every dimension of the school-academics, athletics, student life, co-curricular activities, and faith formation-fully embodies the mission of Jesuit education.

The Principal will:

-Foster and strengthen Bellarmine's Jesuit and Catholic identity through mission-centered leadership and formation.
-Serve as the lead architect of teaching and learning, promoting academic excellence, innovation, and Jesuit pedagogy.
-Provide vision and oversight for athletics, student life, and co-curricular programs that form the whole person.
-Expand global engagement opportunities, cultivating cultural competency and Ignatian leadership.
-Build a vibrant, inclusive school culture rooted in cura personalis and strong partnerships with families and community.
-Ensure compliance, effective personnel practices, and safe, supportive learning environments.
-Collaborate with the President, Board, and leadership team on strategic planning and operations.
-Steward resources and budgets responsibly, aligning them with mission priorities and long-term sustainability.
