Job Description

Saint Bernadette Catholic Church in Springfield, VA is seeking a Business Manager for their parish in Springfield, VA.

The Parish Business Manager has a primary responsibility for the reporting, internal control, cash management, payroll, accounting and budgeting processes for the parish and parish school. In this capacity the Business Manager fulfills an advisory and consultative role to the Pastor, School Principal and Finance Council and serves as a key contact to the diocesan staff. The Business Manager coordinates Parish efforts with audits, assists with the preparation and implementation and monitoring of budgets, and advises / assists with the maintenance, replenishment and financing of the Parish's capital assets and infrastructure.

Qualifications: Candidates should possess strong organizational, analytical, communication, interpersonal, managerial and writing skills. An undergraduate degree in accounting, business, finance or a related field and supervisory experience are expected. Three to five years experience working in a non-profit organization and exceptional proficiency with QuickBooks are highly desirable. Competitive Salary and Benefits commensurate with experience.
